Anand obtained his Bachelors of Physiotherapy degree from India in 2005 and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, University of Chester U.K. He is also certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (Part A & B) and Mulligan’s concept Manual Therapy.
Anand has over 10 years of experience as a Physiotherapist. Before moving to BC he worked in a variety of settings including Hospitals, Nursing homes, Private Clinics, Corporate Office Ergonomics and in Orthopedic, Cardiac and Renal Rehabilitation.
He has treated a wide range of patients and all problem types but his interest lies in Musculoskeletal Conditions. Especially foot and ankle injuries, all spinal issues and sports injuries.
Active listening to his patients and their problems helps him gain a better understanding of the nature of their condition and how it impacts their lives. This, along with careful diagnosis, allows him to formulate a treatment plan and goals to work towards the well-being of his patients.
His treatment methods involve a multifaceted approach entailing appropriate manual therapy with well-structured exercise programs and the education required to return his patients to their functional goals. He also utilizes intramuscular stimulation (IMS) in his treatments.
Anand enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, cooking, working out at the gym, swimming and playing cricket.
