She attempts to empower the individual to learn about their body and the healing process and to guide them successfully in the optimization of healing and re-integration to their desired level of physical function. Assessment and treatments are based on a variety of evidence-based models, and incorporate specific exercise prescription with manual/manipulative therapy, traditional Chinese acupuncture and/or Intra-muscular stimulation (IMS), and soft tissue techniques.
Mary holds a post-graduate diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, is certified in Medical Acupuncture, as well as, Intra-Muscular Stimulation. She continues to build on her vast knowledge base with continuing education in all areas of professional interest, which include the neck, spine and pelvis, hips and shoulders, pre and post operatively, She enjoys treating patients of all ages, athletes and weekend warriors alike.
